Cliff House + Hut + Stack

On the right is the hut with a barrel-shaped roof, the building with a single-pitched roof at the back is the Cliff House, and on the left is the Stack (library). All exterior walls are clad with Galvalume corrugated metal panels.
右手のかまぼこ屋根がHut、奥の片流れ屋根がCliff House、左手の小屋がStack（書庫）。外壁はすべてガルバリュウムの小波板。

- Cliff House -

When the front door opens, the Pacific Ocean comes into view beyond the elliptical wall.

The kitchen and dining room are quite literally at the heart of daily life in this home.
台所と食堂が文字通りこの家の暮らしの中心。
The single-pitched roof is directly expressed in the interior through a ceiling finished with paulownia wood boards.
片流れ屋根は、そのまま室内の桐板の天井に現れている。

- Cliff Hut -

A bay window in the Hut designed for viewing the sea. The windowsill doubles as a bench, upholstered for comfort.
海を眺めるためのHutの出窓。布張りのベンチ仕様の窓台。
Interior of the Hut, west side. The ceiling features a vaulted form.
Hutの室内・西側。天井はヴォールト型。
Interior, east side. On the left is a sofa that can quickly be converted into a bed. The floorboard beneath the children’s chair functions as a hatch-style entrance.
室内・東側。左手にベッドに早替わりするソファ。子供椅子の下の床板は上蓋式の出入口。

- Cliff Stack -

Looking down at the Stack (library) from the bay window of the Hut. Access is via a boardwalk connecting the two.
HUTの出窓からSTACK（書庫）を見下ろす。ボードウォークを通って行き来する
Interior of the Stack. Books on the higher shelves are accessed using a quarter-turn spiral staircase.

A full-height bookshelf spans the 2.6-meter-wide, 3-meter-high wall of the Stack.
